The current scenario of Indian packaging industry was studied. Interactions with the manufacturers of wooden, plastic and corrugated pallets provided information about the various packaging materials being used in India and the market for each of them. The pallet pooling systems were also analyzed by studying the system followed in CHEP India ltd.
