Abstract: The objective of this project was to evaluate various distribution options for low volume products and suggest suitable recommendations. Following options were found to be suitable to distribute the low volume products : Combining with other company’s products ,combining with the products from Jalgaon and Poona , sending by part-loads ,having a central godown at Jalgaon and having a regional distribution system. Of these only the last three were found to be feasible. Part-loads are useful only for very low volumes; Cost calculatlons show that the Jalgaon option is less costlier than the RC option by Rs. 5.5 lakh.
