Abstract: “World over, the work milieu has changed in radical and unanticipated ways for all its stakeholders, posing challenges for the professionals and impacting careers. Mid-career professionals have opted for further education to sharpen their managerial skills and accelerate their careers for coveted roles. However, given the emerging complexities, midcareer education needs to meet the changing priorities of these mid-career professionals. Envisioning the future, they need to assess on an ongoing basis their leadership and other competencies. Based on imminent opportunities, and identified gaps, they need to focus on renewal and growth. These benefits will significantly impact their future career prospects. This conceptual paper shares the future scenario of work and how continued education can impact mid-career professionals.”
