Abstract: One of the biggest and most powerful corporations in the world, Amazon offers a wide variety of goods and services that have helped it become well-known. First launched in 1994 as an online bookstore by Jeff Bezos, Amazon has since grown to include a variety of goods and services, such as cloud computing, streaming video, and artificial intelligence. Amazon's e-commerce site, where users can buy things ranging from books, electronics, apparel, home items, and more, is the main source of revenue for the company. Also, the business has entered the retail sector by acquiring Whole Foods in 2017 and opening its own supermarkets, Amazon Fresh and Amazon Go. Amazon provides several subscription services in addition to its e-commerce platfor m, such as Amazon Prime, a membership programme that provides free two-day shipping on qualified items, access to streaming of movies, music, and TV series, and discounts on selected goods. Amazon also offers Amazon Web Services (AWS), a cloud computing platform that gives both consumers and organizations access to services including storage, database management, analytics, and machine learning. The creation and application of artificial intel ligence and machine learning technologies is one of Amazon's most notable successes. Alexa, the company's voice-activated assistant, is built into a number of Amazon products, including the Echo and the Fire TV, and can ca rry out a variety of activities, including setting alarms and reminders and placing orders for goods on Amazon. With ambitions to introduce new goods and services, broaden its global presence, and make investments in cutting-edge technologies like artificial intelligence and machine learning, Amazon is positioned to continue its growth and expansion in the future. Amazon continues to be one of the most prominent businesses in the world, having a t remendous impact on the retail sector and the overall economy despite the difficulties and scandals it has encountered.
