Abstract: Microsoft is a US based Tech giant with revenue of$ 198 billion in FY 2022. A significant chunk of this revenue (roughly 37%) comes from its intelligent cloud operation. The company offers its services in three modes-Platform as a service, Infrastructure as a service, and Software as a service. The cloud services of Microsoft are offered under the brand name of Azure. The sustainable operation of Azure is hinged upon a wide network of data centers across the globe. Azure's global operation hinges on a web of 200+ physical data centers across the globe. Microsoft operates three data centers in India in Mumbai, Pune, and Chennai.
