Abstract: My E-Haat is a CSR initiative undertaken by HCL. The e-cornmerce platform enables artisans and NGOs to sell their handmade products to customers. The platform is free for the sellers and fac ilitates the delivery process by providing a logistic partner too. In the light of this, the company firstly wants to shift the artisans towards sustainable packaging and do branding through packaging. Secondly, incorporate some quality control mechanisms on the artisans' side and quality check parameters for consumers for different types of materials. Sustainable packaging materials that can be used for different product categories are recommended and a list of companies that offer these solutions are also mentioned. Different processes for branding are discussed and feasible solution (printing thank you cards) is arrived. Quality control mechanisms are provided for some of the chosen materials with respect to both artisan and customer.
