Abstract: The project aims to study the potential of the unemployed women in the Indian Economy. The ambit of unemployed consists of women actively seeking jobs but are not getting the same thus, we will be omitting the "Discouraged unemployment" in women for the project." Using the individual income level, we seek to understand how the aggregate income in the Economy would change if the proportion of women increases in the employment section. Since our inherent assumption is that men and women have similar capabilities, the potential loss in income due to unemployed women can be compared with men as well.
