Abstract: The phrase "digital currency" pertains to money that is only accessible in electronic or digital form. Cybercash, electronic money, digital money, and electronic currency are all terms used to descri be it. Digital currencies are only available in electronic form and thus have no physical propert ies. Digital currency payments are carried out through computers ore-wallets which have internet connections or are connected to some other specific networks. Physical currencies, such as minted coins and banknotes, on the other hand, are tactile, which means they have unique physical features. Transactions using these currencies are only possible when their owners have actual possession of them.
