Abstract: The world has been transforming towards digitization in different sectors of the economy, including the education system. The need for digital transformation is high, especially in the education sector, because of the increasing technological capabilities and expectations of students and parents. The outbreak of Covid has pushed this need further, making many new technological inventions possible. Although there have been extensive studies on the increasing role of technology in this sector, the real question here is the adaptability of such digitization by the existing institutes, educators, and students. What are the means through which they prepare themselves for this rapid transformation. This paper aims at analyzing the response of the existing education system to the digital changes, possible challenges faced, and the emerging competitor and complementing industries supporting the adaption process. The references have been taken from secondary research of multiple research papers and journals published in this space, and this is validated by primary research, interviewing educators limiting our work to lOth and 12th grades.
