Abstract: The overarching objective of the research is to gauge the purchase drive and the factors driving such intention to help firms increase the market share of electrical vehicles in India. And through this project, it was observed that factors such as celebrity endorsement, informative marketing initiatives, range of the vehicle, battery capacity, and charging speed etc. play a vital role in driving the purchase decision of the consumer. Further research helped us conclude that the real challenges in adoption of electric-vehicles in India is due the lack of adequate charging infrastructure. Therefore, companies targeting Indian market should heavily invest developing such infrastructure to boost the market for electric vehicles.
