Abstract: The term IT-Enabled Services is typical to India since world over such services are known as BPO services. In the Indian context, ITeS refers to a range of IT intensive services provided from a location distinct from that of the user, across verticals and over different technological platforms. There is a steady trend among Indian ITeS firms to provide more knowledge intensive services such as KPO (Knowledge Process Outsourcing), LPO (Legal Process Outsourcing) and ESO (Engineering Services Outsourcing).
