Abstract: The article discusses the role of individual power distance orientation and perceived organizational support in psychological empowerment and employee outcomes in Mexico. Topics discussed include perceptions of organizational support, play an important role in shaping psychological empowerment, and psychological empowerment has a wide range of employee outcomes, such as satisfaction, commitment and citizenship behaviors.
