Abstract: Sexual wellness products are a broad category of lifestyle products used to enhance sexual health or intimacy. These products include Condoms, contraceptive pills, lubricants, and pleasure enhancing devices. This is reportedly an INR 1,000 Cr. segment in India1 . The sexual wellness market in India is in a state of constant growth, both on the business and the popularity side. Topics which were once taboo are slowly, but surely shedding their stigmatic cloak in India. We aim to measure the extent of this stigma currently prevalent in the city of Bangalore. We conducted an in-depth analysis of the associated stigma through multiple depth interviews and have formulated our findings herewith. Further, we aim to conduct on-site evaluations in select identified locations for the installation of dispensing machines, as well as examining innovative methods of dispersal that could work in an Indian context. These new machines could help mitigate some of the possible pain points identified during the purchase of sexual wellness products, and consequently lead to an overall increase in their purchases.
