Abstract: The case method is an integral part of the IIMB academic experience. To explain simply, each case is a simulation or anecdote of a real-world business problem. The case revolves around a protagonist who is the person tasked with solving that problem. In class sessions, students are expected to step into the shoes of the protagonist and debate the nuances of each decision and the reasoning behind them with the rest of the class. This study was an attempt to delve deep into the students’ perception about the case study method on modern MBA curriculum. The research followed was a qualitative one followed by quantitative analysis.
