Abstract: Assistive Technologies (ATs) are technologies that can help individuals with disabilities to improve their overall functional capabilities in day to day activities. Due to the advancement in modern science, many such technologies are available in today’s market, some of which are even low cost which can massively increase the productivity of people with disabilities. A place where the introduction of such technologies can make a massive impact is the modern workplace setting. They can help make many new avenues in terms of roles and responsibilities open up for people with disabilities and at the same time go a long way to make them feel much more included in the workplace and ensure that they are not held back due to their disabilities. One of the newest attributes of today’s businesses and corporations is their need to be digital. This requires skills like having the ability to work with computers almost mandatory for being employable in today’s workspace. Similarly, a growing emphasis on having a customer focus requires today’s employees to travel to client locations frequently as well as seamlessly be able to communicate and interact with them.
