The whole idea of these seminars was to understand how the Government is taking steps in improving the delivery of services. The themes varied from governance, agriculture, sustainability, nutrition, law and justice and Education. • Governance seminar was focused on delegation of power at lower level and citizen involvement • Agriculture seminar focused on sustainable use of resources and rentable equipment innovation • Sustainability seminar focused on water management and improving the water table • Nutrition initiative was all about fighting malnutrition and to have a better targeted approach for women and children • Law and justice focused on digitalization of various functions of courts and police services • Education seminar focused on initiatives to increase the retention rate and quality of education in government and government aid run school The whole purpose of this project was to categorize the different policies and try to understand the innovation in these policies. Most of these policies are in their starting stage their actual result in long term are yet to come but there has been a lot of improvement in terms of accountability and transparency in the system. We are really thankful to Prof Arnab Mukherjee for providing us the opportunity to work in this project which helped us in understanding the government initiative and work in all these sectors in better way.
