Abstract: ‘Public Transport in India post COVID-19 and Opportunities for EVs’ is a CCS project pursued under Prof. Damodaran. The objective of the study is: 1. To understand the current state of public transport in India, especially public buses. 2. To study the environmental, economic and operational condition of these buses. 3. To study the current global and domestic scenario – Impact of COVID. 4. To exemplify some of the innovative use cases. 5. To show how attractive Electric Vehicles market is and to promote EV public buses. 6. To recommend feasible options going ahead.
