Abstract: AssisTech Foundation is focused on assistive technologies which supports and promotes disability technology Startups which are bringing in innovation to the domain. They are India’s first such startup trying to bring awareness about world of disability and create impact through the startups they support. In the last 1.5 years of their existence, they have created massive impact in terms of impacting 1.6 lakh lives through their initiatives. They are currently supporting a portfolio of 11 startups, 35 assistive technology products and 5 patents. They also organize conclaves to bring together all stakeholders to develop an ecosystem of collaboration to develop more such technology. AssisTech Foundation aims to expand their reach and help disability focus business to thrive profitably. Global Assistive Platform for children with learning disabilities is envisioned to be a bouquet of digital offerings to cater to the need for various assistive services which can improve the learning, living and future livelihood of disabled children. The platform aims to tackle the issue of accessibility of resources that children with disability face and create a collaborative marketplace that brings various providers and enables digital delivery of “customized” services for each person. Partnering with Government of Karnataka, ATF wants to bring these services all across Karnataka. The services our divided into 3 clusters: Health, Special Education, and Livelihood. Each cluster of services are aimed at different age groups. Our project was aimed at only the first two tracks, i.e., health and education. While multiple services are currently available in these sectors, there are still gaps due to which services are not reaching the end consumers. Our study focusses on these gaps and possible strategies to overcoming these gaps, creating a pilot MVP which will be tested in the target customer group and development of an operational plan to launch the platform.
