Abstract: We tried to understand the various factors that affect the purchase intention of buyer in purchasing grocery and clothing from online stores. Along with this we also tried to analyse the effect of covid on the online purchase behaviour of the consumers from whom this mode of channel has become necessity in these times. We tried to answer the question whether the customers will continue to purchase online based on their experience in pandemic times. We conducted FGD and personal interview to come with the factors that affect the purchases online. We developed the hypothesis and prepared a questionnaire to get responses on these lines. We also conducted experiments to test our hypothesis in case of both grocery and apparel shopping. We used the mathematical techniques like factor analysis, multiple regression and independent sample t test.
