Abstract: The CCS report gives an account of the work we did as part of Wanderer’s Escape, a company we started as part of our course ‘Entrepreneurship in Action’. Our service takes away the customer’s planning worries and packages their vacation into a surprise filled personalized trip crafted to their unique selves. At the macro level, we act as intermediaries between travel agencies and a traveler embedding a layer of surprise and thrill. We take inputs from a customer through a digital form. These inputs include food preferences, weather preferences, recent travel information, activity preferences, terrain preferences, special occasion details (if any), etc. Using these inputs, we plan the destination and subsequently amalgamate the trip with surprises. These surprises are tailored to provide a holistically fun-filled experience. We started with revamping the brand of Wanderer’s Escape and have shown detailed strategy, trends and results of the strategy. We got a 250% increase in the number of likes and a 300% increase in engagements. Consequently, we got 7 bookings on our form, out of which 4 materialized. We also identified two challenges that was stopping us from acquiring customers. We added one more offering: ‘One Day in Bangalore’. We have a conviction that it could evolve as a major category in various metro cities. We also identified the core vision of the company. We aspire to cause disruptions in this industry using technology. With this vision, we on boarded one more member with us, Kedar Mahamuni, a technology genius, and together we aim to develop a service that could be hosted and redeemed by use of various voice assisted applications like Google Home, Alexa, Cotana, etc.
