Excavators are a class of heavy earthmoving equipment, and the comes in various tonnages. The higher the tonnage of the excavator, the heavier jobs it can handle. L&T Komatsu were already the market leader in the premium 20T segment with its PC200-6 excavator, and they are now coming up with a better excavator with state of the art technology named PC210LC-8, and wants to know the possibilities of positioning the excavator in the market such that they can continue with the current model of excavator which is percieved as a highly reliable product, and at the same time sell the new product too.
