Abstract: The study conducted on the prevalence of skin infections shows that the Dermatologists, GPs and the Paediatricians categorize them differently. However, Bacterial infections were more common. The Dermatologists treat skin infections differently, for they can identify the infection accurately. This means that among all the attributes ranking theirs was the lowest. Paediatricians prefer less Side Effects while GPs look for higher potency and broader Spectrum. Skin infection is not seen as a very grave so the price plays an indifferent role while prescribing. The Price Sensitive doctors are a I most equal in number as those who are not. The whole sample can be divided into four segments with combinations of price sensitive, non-price sensitive and Prescribers non prescribers of Ensamycin. It is seen from these segments that detailing should consist of reinforcing the cost effectiveness and the superior characteristics of Ensa cream. The study Also showed that the irregular prescribers of Ensamycin constitute the majority portion of the doctors. These doctors should be capitalized and converted to regular users. The unaided awareness of Ensamycin is very low, However. aided awareness is almost 100%, In south, the image of the Organization plays a very minimal role compared to the product's name.
