Abstract: The feasibility report is based on the outcome of a market survey conducted among the: Full Fledged Money Changers, Banks, Travel Agents and clients at Bangalore. In a total market whose volume for the year 1995 is about 200 crores there are eighteen FFMC’s competing among themselves for a share in this market . Annual growth rate of the industry is assumed to be 20 % based on market information. An initial outlay of Rs 14,38,500 has been estimated for setting up the retail outlet at the Airport which would generate Rs 9,21,500 (Profit Before Tax ) for the first year. Similarly the profit for the subsequent two years have also been projected. On the basis of these outcomes, the business of money changing seems to be profitable right from the beginning, though the profits might not be sizeable. More over keeping in , view the prospects of business , with the advent of MNC’s and the upcoming International Airport , the proposition is very attractive and viable .
