Abstract: The objective of the project was to assess the viability of producing third firing tiles. For this purpose the study sought to understand the market for third firing tiles. During the course of the project the main learning was the experience of going into the marketplace and extracting information from the dealers and the customers. The project also helped me in developing my skills in designing questionnaires. Since I was not given a detailed project brief, I had freedom to decide on the type of study to be undertaken. This was also & good experience. I felt that the summer project was quite useful to me.
