Abstract: ‘This project was undertaken as part of the study of the wholesale package for Al tea in Punjab. The cites covered in the project were Amritsar and Ludhiana. BROOKE BOND At was launched in Punjab and Chandigarh as part of the test marketing exercise employing the distribution system of STEPAN CHEMICALS,a subsidiary of HLL. This project was undertaken with A1 three months into the market and had a twofold objective: * Evaluate the present wholesale package for A1 with the view of finding whether A1 has been successful in capturing the loose tea and mushroom pack segments in the two cities. . * Find out what more can be done for the wholesalers in order to further increase penetration and generate long term interest.
