Abstract: ITC is India’s number 1 company with a group turnover of US $2 billion and has market leadership in each of its 7 businesses. The PACKAGING AND PRINTING department of ITC is today India’s largest manufacturer of value-added cartons. This division of ITC meets the packaging needs of ITC’s Indian Tobacco Division and the requirements of a wide range of leading brands of liquor, foods, detergents and personal products. PPD today is number 1 in India in the packaging of liquor and cigarettes. Its comprehensive packaging covers the innovative use of materials, processes, machinery and research and development.
