Abstract: This report consists of two parts: Part I is devoted to Export Finance and is a study of export financing schemes of the Export - Import Bank of India, commercial banks and the Export Credit and Guarantee Corporation. Part II is related to Export Marketing. MICO proposes to approach the Export - Import Bank of India for a grant, under the latter's Export Marketing Finance Programme, to promote its exports to the Commonwealth of Independent States ( CIS ) and the Republic of South Africa. This part of the report contains export plans for the two markets. The export plans are confined to a review of the current market situation and suggestions for adopting appropriate marketing strategies. The export plans serve as a justification for the grant request.
