Abstract: I completed two projects during the course of my summer internship. One project involved a deep study and analysis of the bank's systems and processes, specifically those pertaining to trade finance, while the other project required direct interaction with prospective corporate clients. Thus, I was able to obtain exposure to these contrasting themes during the course of my internship. The two projects helped me gain an in-depth understanding of the functioning of the corporate division of a bank. Working on the trade referrals project required a deep introspection at the day-to-day functioning of the bank, so that recommendations to improve the existing systems could be made. The Straight2Bank project gave me direct exposure to clients and valuable hands-on expenence of a sales job.
