Abstract: Overall, the internship was a good experience and the company played a parental role, providing all the necessary guidance and facilities required for the duration of the internship. The first week was mainly dedicated to knowing more about the company and interaction with employees at all levels in both the branches and the corporate office in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. This enabled me to understand the company, work culture and operations better. In fact, I had an opportunity to be a part of the cultural program of the Business Development Department of UAE Exchange where five teams within the department competed among themselves on stage, showcasing different talents such as dance, drama etc. • I had the opportunity to complete two projects, both of which involved live study which proved to be very meaningful in understanding the UAE Market and the intricacies characterizing it. • However, my main criticism is that the project was not as structured as it should be and communication was not done early enough in terms of joining date, department, city of posting, project scope etc. Had this been taken care of more promptly and efficiently, the overall experience would have been more fruitful.
