Abstract: The Internship was good with the Assortment Planning project focusing on devising strategy for the company with regards to the way forward with respect to assortment of watches in Titan. The need for'the project arises from the fact that there are about 1000 odd watches on display in Titan showrooms and about the same number of active variants under product.ian." throughout the year. Whereas consumers complain that Titan brand does not provide much variety as far as design of watches is concerned. Also the. number of watches seen by a consumer before making a purchase decision was perceived to be quite low. Thus lots of money is stuck up in production, storage and display of watches whereas there is no such need. On the other hand the other project was a marketing implementation based project. Every year there is an offer run on the Solid Gold watches from Nebula during the occasion of Akshay Tritiya for a period of around Y2 month. This year there was an offer of gold coins and vouchers by Titan on the occasion of Titan for a period of 17 days. The project successfully ended with. a 100% increase in sales over the last year and the best Akshay Tritiya ever for Nebula Solid Gold watches ever.
