Abstract: The internship started on 7th April 2010 with one week of orientation and corporate responsibility programs. Immediately after that all the interns were told about their respective .. Guides and project. I was located in Chennai as my project included roaming and identifying the market opportunities for Gynecare products in southern part of India. I had to travel several cities in Tamil nadu and Kerala and visited particularly the government hospitals for identifying the market potential for the product. During the course of internship i interviewed several doctors and superintendents who were involved in the buying decision of the medical college and hospital. The questionnaire developed and responses analysed after that gave insight about the need and expectation about the product from the consumer. In the end recommendation were made separately for Tamil Nadu and Kerala based on the swot analysis and market requirement.
