Abstract

The visit was characterised by visits to temples, public functions and audiences with devotees who wanted to have a personal audience with the Sadguru. The tour began with the celebration of his thirty-first birthday in London. It was an event that was attended by several hundred devotees. Babaji began his first spiritual discourse in the UK by saying that Lord Dakshinamurthy is the primal Guru. He is both the Father and Mother. It is only when we serve our parents that we derive strength. They assuage our hunger. It is very often the case that we do not need to search for our parents.
