Abstract: The benefits of various quality initiatives such as CMM and CMMi on a technology company, XYZ organization have been analyzed. The results of these initiatives are comparable with some industry findings. A survey has been conducted to help XYZ to move ahead in its process initiatives. The survey results were analyzed and it is found that the process deployment and sustenance require more focus in comparison with process definition. It may be concluded that the continuous process improvement in the context of an organization could focus more in the area of process deployment and sustenance rather than process definition.
