Abstract: The exercise was carried out in two phase to understand the conduciveness of the environment for praticising the disciplines of Learning Organization and to understand the extent of internalization of one of the elements, namely, VISION , sharing of vision, problems and difficulties and recommendation for the same. A culture survey conducted at both levels namely, non management and management employees were analyzed and found to be encouraging. The second phase was the vision exercise a pre-requisite for any LEARNING ORGANIZATION .The outcome of this exercise indicates almost total awareness of company vision statement. However most of the employees are unable to link their current activities towards realizing the stated vision. ^/iony factors were identified that need either more focus or changes if this vision need to be realized. The organization which is learning and growing appears to be in ADAPTIVE LEARNING mode rather than GENERATIVE LEARNING which a learning organization creates through the VISION statement and understanding. Recommendations for articulating the company vision Into action has been the focus of the study.
