Implementation of such well thought out projects which are aligned with the overall organization s strategy and provide functionality which is needed by the business always results in higher financial and competitive performance for organizations. Business leaders need to start thinking about creating the organization structures, processes and methodologies which will allow them to merge the standalone analytics and IT functions into a single function. The new structure and process will ensure better alignment between business and IT and implement strategies which will further organization s competitive advantage.
