Abstract: The report is a detailed account of the project on ‘Increasing the Revenue from Dynamic Discounting Services’. It involves identifying and defining key metrics involved in cell site selection which directly impact the incremental ARPU. This is followed by the construction of a mathematical model, which can be used as a guideline for new cell site selection for DDS. In addition to this, the project focused on optimizing the discount profile followed across the sites and proper mode & method of communication to the end customers. The project was allocated under Discover program, a summer internship program at Vodafone India. It lasted for a period of 8 weeks starting from 10th April, 2014 to 6th June, 2014. The findings of the project would help Vodafone to increase the revenue from the product DDS. This project focused on giving a detailed view on better cell site selection, optimized discount patterns and effective communication of the product. Also, it would enable Vodafone to structure and plan the DDS launch in the remaining circles.
