Abstract: Information Security is the protection of information assets from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, disruption, modification or destruction. Information security is of utmost importance for any organization and in order to maintain information security, the employees should be aware of the various policies which needs to be followed.Information security becomes all the more important in a BPO organization as the employees directly deal with the customers sensitive information like credit and debit card details which cannot be compromised. Information asset is any tangible or intangible thing that has value to the organization and its clients. The Absence or degradation of the information assets effects the delivery of product/service or damage the organization through loss of confidentiality or integrity.
