The role of MIS has found a pivotal role in every industry and Mutual Funds industry is not exempted from it. The large data analysis carves out a path to identify the target Distributors and the key transactions on a daily basis. This project attempts to develop a business intelligence model to help the Sales team of Axis Mutual Funds in identifying these critical factors. The Sales team is primarily divided into four channels viz. IFAs, Axis Bank, Institutional Investors and Banks and other NOs. Each of the team has different requirements and a separate screen would be made for their different purposes. Besides different MIS screens, the project also tried to develop certain logics to find out the priority list for Institutional investors and similar logic could be applied to identify the target Distributors for other Sales Channels. The report also gives screenshots of excel file and first structure of MIS screens and gives a complete logic to explain the model developed.
