Scoping of treasury business among bank clients in certain overseas centers: HDFC Bank Ltd.

Abstract

This document gives a glimpse of the Investment climate in India by presenting the FDI trends in the country and also comparing it with that of other Emerging market economies, followed by a study of India’s bilateral relations with other countries. For the purpose of scoping of Treasury business for HDFC Bank overseas, Multinational companies based in major countries investing in India have been analyzed based on their industry, sector, region of presence in the country and prior relationships with the bank, to draw inferences and recommend prospective clients of treasury business for the bank
