It discusses the 9 principles in details and the factors that impact the ESG implementation by the companies. It analyses the initiatives taken by companies in the Power and Utility sector with special attention to TATA Power. It also compares the initiatives, frameworks used by the company with other competitors operating in the country like NTPC and Adani Power Ltd. It further discusses various challenges faced by the companies, how different are things for Private and Public players and how the vision and mission of a company impacts its strategic decisions on sustainability.
