The relational human inventory has been developed and validated amongst Caucasian population (De Koning and Weiss, 2002). This raises questions in terms of its external applicability amongst other populations – such as in India. This study, therefore, aims to test the validity of the relational humor inventory (De Koning and Weiss, 2002) amongst Indians in English as well as in Hindi. For this purpose, a scale will be developed and validated in Hindi as well.
