The first objective is to study the current assaying models and to develop a sustainable model for assaying system to be implemented in the APMC markets. And also to look into the automation of assaying to make the system time-saving and less prone to human error. The second objective is to find the degree of dependence of pricing on the various parameters of the produce. By establishing the relation between price and parameter, farmers can be educated on the importance of parameters. Thirdly an analysis of the peak arrivals of commodities at various markets has to be done. Then a sustainable model has to be proposed to address these peak arrivals for efficient assaying.
