dc.description.abstractToyota Kirloskar Auto Parts (TKAP) is a manufacturer of axles, shafts, transmissions and engines and is a joint venture of Toyota Motors Corporation(Japan), Toyota Industries Corporation(Japan) and Kirloskar Systems (India). It was established in 2002 and works as an auto parts hub for Toyota with parts from TKAP being supplied to its plants in Thailand and Indonesia in addition to its mother plant in India. TKAP is committed to meeting international quality norms at a low per unit cost by leveraging the local manufacturing base. TKAP has been recently awarded the Total Preventive Maintenance award for their excellence in maintaining safe and secure manufacturing processes
