Saahas, founded in 2001 and Samarthanam, founded in 2003 are chosen for this study which focus on creating awareness on waste management, make products out of various types of waste and create employment to bottom of the pyramid. Major differences between these two firms include, social impact, revenue models, staffing, waste management processes, creating awareness, etc.-
