Cloud computing in the last decade was perceived to be a way to increase a business’ computing power or capacity on the fly without having to invest heavily in capital expenditure. The cost incurred was on a ‘pay as you go’ basis enabling companies to focus on their core business proposition and not care about the ever-changing technological trends and upgrades in the underlying infrastructure. Over the last few years, the cloud computing realm has seen some irreversible trends that have created a significant impact in the organizations’ technology strategy and the subsequent market offerings.
