The purpose of this project was to understand the relationship between patriarchal orientation and attitude towards injustice towards women at the workplace. We have used a pre-validated scale to adjudge patriarchal beliefs for a homogenous highly educated Indian population. I have drawn inspiration from past literature and divided the experiment in two phases. In the first phase, I collected data from an educational institution with an average age of 25 years. The data was recorded and the results were interpreted. In the second phase, in order to get more streamlined answers, the scale into 4 major components to define the patriarchal beliefs of males; Situational Response, Men in Positions of Power, Inferior Role of Women, Domestic Expectations from women. The implication of the results and other factors have been discussed.
