dc.description.abstractWith every passing day problems induced by Financial crises is getting more significant and serious mainly due to the highly globalized and internationalized markets. Spillover of crisis is very frequent, resulting in collapsing of the financial system around the whole world. In the tree below we tried to classify financial crisis into several buckets but in general several types of crisis generally intertwine and gets escalated. There are three main types of crisis- Currency crisis, Banking crisis and Sovereign Debt Crisis. We can classify crisis on the basis of origin, scale and causes. In this literature we will look only at classification on the basis of origin and causes
