The aim of this research project is to study different types of approaches and metrics used in the Supply Chain industry to assess their performance and quality. We aim to carry out a critical analysis of each metric and list the possible use cases of each because every metric is not appropriate to reflect the quality of different supply chain types. We also list a few empirical results being carried out by various researchers in the domain, which helps in the analysis of the relative importance of different supply chain performance metrics.
