dc.description.abstractCovid-19 was a challenge unlike any another and had far reaching impact on almost all aspects of life and the workplace was affected deeply as well. Companies had to adapt quickly and there were consequences on many aspects relating to work and employee motivation. Some of these such as productivity, collaboration, questions for management, separation of personal life from work, impact of continuous work from home on motivation, psychological safety, economic implications and any inequalities arising out of the new normal, have been covered in this study. Further, some changes which will stay even after the pandemic is over have been covered. Some insights about impact across two diverse sectors – aviation and consulting have also been included. The study despite its limitations aims to give an understanding of different impact areas due to the Covid-19 pandemic and tackling some of these can help a workplace evolve better and become more employee friendly
