Abstract

As we were leaving for our homes after the end of third term, we had to move our packed luggage to the store room. The luggage was heavy and so, we asked for help from one of the security guards. It took a lot of effort time to shift all that heavy baggage to the store, when one of us said: “Bas ye mehnat, fir 26 ghante ka lamba, train ka safar, aur 2 hafte ghar par aaram.” The guard heard us and replied with a smile: “Sir, hamko to aise 4 ‘26 ghante’ train me bitane padte hai.” We were astonished. What followed was a story of that guy, his circumstances, his strugglesthat humbled us totally.
